My First Job: Keeping You Safe

Dear Friends, Family and Neighbors,

I was planning to kick-off my campaign by going door-to-door to meet with my neighbors to talk about my campaign, but the coronavirus (COVID-19) has changed everything. Now we must keep each other safe during these uncertain times.

Caring for each other should be our number one priority. As a candidate for county commissioner, I want to be of service to you. If you have any questions about the virus or what to do to keep safe, I will do my best to find answers for you.

Macomb County also has a COVID-19 Helpline from the Health Department that is open 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. seven days a week. The Helpline number is 586-463-3750 and its’s a resource for our residents to receive official health and testing information related to COVID-19.

I encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions for the safety of our community, especially our most vulnerable community members by following the CDC’s guidelines on preventing COVID-19’s spread in communities.

Together, taking care of each other, we will make it through all of this. If you have any questions or concerns, you can email me at mai@voteformai.com.

Sincerely,

Mai Xiong
Candidate for Macomb County Commissioner
