Mai Xiong wins General Election as County Commissioner with 54.5% of votes

Mai Xiong is the projected winner of the 2020 General Election in the Macomb County Commissioners race with 54.5% of the votes. Official results from 11/4/2020 show that Xiong received 17,647 votes across all precincts in the district. Mai will become the first elected official of Asian decent on the board of commissioners and the first Hmong-American in the state of Michigan.

Mai was at the polls with her children on Tuesday to speak to voters about her race.
